With Support from the Andrii Matiukha Foundation, Ukraine Launches Online Hub “YE-PROTEZ”

"Ye – Prosthesis"— support portal for people who have undergone limb amputations and their families

“YE-PROTEZ” is a digital platform for people with amputations that provides professional consultations, helps select the right prosthesis, find funding, and complete a rehabilitation program. The project is implemented with the support of the Andrii Matiukha Foundation and offers verified information about rehabilitation centers, prosthetic manufacturers, and organizations that provide financial assistance.

The platform’s development began in 2024. At the initial stage, the team conducted a pilot launch: they created a landing page with a knowledge base and launched a Telegram chatbot to answer key questions about prosthetics.

Currently, a full-featured mobile application is being developed based on the collected data, including prosthetic roadmaps, integration with government services, and the ability to engage partner foundations. The platform already provides users with a wide range of educational materials — from legal advice to recommendations for physical rehabilitation.

The goal of “YE-PROTEZ” is to ensure simple and convenient access to reliable information and technical support. The service is designed for both wounded military personnel and civilians with amputations.

The development team emphasizes modern technologies, integrating artificial intelligence for natural and user-friendly interaction with the chatbot. In the near future, the goal is to reach at least 5,000 users and help a minimum of 2,500 complete the full prosthetic journey. The distribution of the “YE-PROTEZ” chatbot and informational support is managed by Business Incubator Group. Ukraine (BIG.U), which is responsible for expanding the partner network, engaging communities, and attracting platform users.

«The launch of “YE-PROTEZ” is a significant step in creating a modern support system that will help thousands of Ukrainians return to an active life», said Andrii Matiukha, founder of the Andrii Matiukha Foundation.

At the same time, the Foundation continues other initiatives, including purchasing modern surgical equipment for the National Children’s Specialized Hospital «Ohmatdyt» and supporting the rehabilitation of wounded military personnel. Today, the Foundation’s main mission is to assist those affected by the war and implement effective systemic solutions for their adaptation.
