Energy Workers in Vinnytsia Complete First Aid Training with Support from the Andrii Matiukha Foundation

Every day energy workers go on shift knowing they might come under fire. In critical moments first aid knowledge can become the tool that saves a life. That’s why nationwide “Protecting Ukrenergo Repair Teams” trainings are held by the FAST project with support from the Andrii Matiukha Foundation.
This time the training took place in Vinnytsia. Participants practiced hands-on skills such as stopping bleeding, applying tourniquets, proper wound dressing, and performing CPR. Trainers created scenarios as close to real-life situations as possible.
After the session participants said they feel more confident, knowing they can save themselves or a colleague if necessary.
The “Protecting Ukrenergo Repair Teams” program continues across Ukraine. Organizers plan more than 70 training sessions, involving over 1,500 specialists. Each participant will receive a personalized certificate.
“These people bring light back to the country, even when darkness surrounds them. We want them to feel protected and have basic knowledge to act in critical situations. This is our way of showing gratitude,” says Andrii Matiukha.
